Huwa Ahmadun Lyrics (Roman Arabic & English Translation):
Qāla Rasūlullāh, ṣallā Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam:
“The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said:
“Inna lī Asmā’an, anā Muḥammadun wa-anā Aḥmadu,
wa-anā al-Māḥī alladhī yamḥū Allāhu biya al-Kufr,
wa-anā al-Ḥāshiru alladhī yuḥsharu an-Nāsu ʿalā qadami,
wa anā al-ʿĀqibu (wa al-ʿĀqibu alladhī laysa baʿdahu Nabī).”
(Narrated by Bukhari & Muslim)
(The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said:
“I have many names: I am Muhammad; I am Ahmad;
I am Al-Mahi (The Eraser), by whom Allah erases blasphemy;
I am Al-Hashir (The Gatherer), before whom people are gathered (on the Day of Judgement);
I am Al-‘Aqib (the Last Prophet), after whom there are no more Prophets;
Narrated by Bukhari & Muslim).

Wa naḥnu fīhi nufākhur
He is the source of our pride

Likulli al-ʿāshiqīn ḥabīb

Wa anā ḥabībī… ḥabībī Muḥammad
